Antonio Ribeiro

(born 21 May 1928 Gandarela de Basta, di ed. March 24, 1998 in Lisbon, Portugal), Portuguese Roman Catholi c Cardinal, Patriarch of Lisbon. Son of Jose and Diana Ribeiro Go nçalves. He studied at the seminary in Braga and the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, where he obtained his doctorate in theology. He was ordained priest July 5, 1953 year. For many years he was professor of moral philosophy, social philosophy and social psychology at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences.
